Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026
XBG Legacy LLC, doing business as Eavey (“Eavey,” “we,” “us”), provides software that roofing and home-improvement contractors use to manage leads, customers, insurance claims, estimates, invoices, and communication with their customers. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have.
Who this policy covers
- Contractors who sign up for and use Eavey (our customers). We are responsible for the account information they give us.
- Homeowners and other peoplewhose information a contractor keeps in Eavey, including anyone who submits a contractor's request form. That information belongs to the contractor. We store and process it on the contractor's behalf, following their instructions. If you're a homeowner with a question about your information, contact the contractor you worked with. We'll help them respond.
Information we collect
From contractors
- Account details: name, email, company name, phone number, and team members you invite.
- Billing details for your Eavey subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store full card numbers.
Information contractors put into Eavey
- Customer and lead details: names, phone numbers, email addresses, and property addresses.
- Project and insurance-claim details: carrier name, claim and policy numbers, adjuster information, claim amounts, and dates.
- Photos, documents (such as insurance estimates), notes, estimates, and invoices.
- Text messages and emails sent to or received from customers through Eavey.
From request forms
- What you enter: name, contact details, address, and a description of your project.
- If you agree to receive texts: a record of that consent, including the wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser type.
Automatically
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited, and error logs), and cookies that keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To provide the service: store records, show them to the contractor's team, and generate estimates, invoices, and documents.
- To send messages for the contractor, such as replies to new requests and claim or project updates, by text or email.
- To run AI-assisted features. When a contractor uses them, the documents or photos they submit are analyzed to suggest items for their review. A person at the contractor reviews every suggestion before anything is used or sent.
- To provide support, keep the service secure, and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To improve and develop our products, conduct research, build industry benchmarks, and train and evaluate machine-learning models. We do this using information that has been combined and stripped of anything that identifies a person, property, or contractor.
- To comply with the law.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:
- With the contractor whose form or account it belongs to.
- With service providers that run parts of Eavey for us. They are bound to use the information only to provide their service:
- Supabase: database and file storage
- Vercel: website and application hosting
- Anthropic: AI analysis of documents and photos a contractor submits (not used to train their models)
- Twilio: text messages and phone calls
- Resend: email delivery
- Stripe: subscription billing for contractors
- Google: address suggestions while typing an address
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of people or the service.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business. This policy would still apply.
Text messages
Contractors use Eavey to text their customers, for example to confirm a request or give claim and project updates. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. See our Texting Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. This does not prevent sharing with the service providers listed above to deliver the messages.
How long we keep information
- We keep account and customer data while the contractor's account is active.
- When a contractor cancels, they can export their data for 30 days. We then delete it within the following 30 days. Copies in routine backups expire on their normal schedule.
- Records of texting consent and opt-outs are kept for up to five years, so the contractor can show consent was given or honored. After that they are deleted.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that keep each contractor's data separate, and limited, logged access by our staff. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify the affected contractor, and where the law requires, the people affected and regulators, as quickly as possible.
Your choices
- Homeowners: contact the contractor you worked with to access, correct, or delete your information. You can also email us and we'll pass your request to them.
- Contractors: you can view, edit, export, and delete your data in Eavey, or email us.
- Anyone can opt out of texts by replying STOP.
Children
Eavey is a business tool and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Where Eavey operates
Eavey is offered only in the United States, and information is stored in the United States.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll notify contractors before it takes effect.
