Texting Terms

What these messages are
Roofing and home-improvement contractors use Eavey to text their customers and people who contact them. Messages come from the contractor and are about your request or project, for example:
- Confirming they received your request or call, and that someone will follow up
- Scheduling and appointment details
- Updates on your project or insurance claim
- Replies in a conversation you started with the contractor
How you sign up
You receive texts only if you agree to them, for example by checking the texting box on a contractor's request form, or if you text or call the contractor first and they reply about your message or call. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
Frequency and cost
- Message frequency varies with your request or project.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
- Automated messages aren't sent before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. your local time. Messages that would fall in those hours are sent the next morning.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP(or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) at any time to stop receiving texts. You'll get one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no more after that.
- Reply START to sign up again.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact the contractor directly. You can also email us at support@eaveyapp.com.
Other terms
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported on major U.S. carriers. Eavey texting is available only in the United States.
